INTRODUCTION

The Bible says in Matthew 24:1 "Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings" (New International Version-UK). This verse attracts my attention because the temple was built for the glory of God so the disciples were so proud. To built this temple it were used not only quite good materials but also a lot of money was spent. The King Herodes ordered the construction of this temple trying to maintain a good relationship between the Roman empire and the Jewish people. Although religious leaders knew about religion, they could not recognize the Messiah; they knew the word but they did not have the Spirit; they had the prophecies but not  God.

God has a serious problem when faith is transformed into a religious culture; in this case, people cannot focus their lives upon God's love, the communion with him and loving their neighbours. Now, the demon of religion starts to work and prosperity and healing do not come to their lives even though they go to church. In spite of the fact we are more than conquerors through him who loved us, victory does not come! There is a popular saying in our country: "we know the music but not the words"

WHEN RELIGION BEGINS TO TAKE CONTROL

Sometimes we so love our church and its structure but God has gone. When religion begins to take control of people's heart, they are proud of their reputation, their temple and their musicians; however, God will destroy everything if it is useless for his purposes. Why God will have a temple if people do not use it for worshipping him? Why God will have a temple if believers are not able to recognize The Messiah when he comes? Some people wonder "Who is this person? Where has he obtained the authority? He is a demon-possessed man, let's kill him!”
Are you stuck to Christ or to your church? Are you stuck to Christ or to your Pastor? Are you stuck to those ministries who have been for 100 years in the country so they are well known? When Jesus came to earth, the Pharisees really knew the commandments, the word and the chain of authorities but Jesus said to them "I will work with these fishermen and prostitutes" Do not become into a religious Pharisee! Jesus brought a new wine to be poured into new wineskins, a new wine cannot be poured into an old structure! I strongly believe that Uruguay needs a time of grace from God, it needs a prophetic voice. God said to Ezequiel: "17 Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me.18 When I say to a wicked man, 'You will surely die,' and you do not warn him or speak out to dissuade him from his evil ways in order to save his life, that wicked man will die for his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood.19 But if you do warn the wicked man and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his evil ways, he will die for his sin; but you will have saved yourself. 20 Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and does evil, and I put a stumbling-block before him, he will die. Since you did not warn him, he will die for his sin. The righteous things he did will not be remembered, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. 21 But if you do warn the righteous man not to sin and he does not sin, he will surely live because he took warning, and you will have saved yourself."(Ezekiel 3:17-21 NIV-UK)
The disciples said to Jesus "My Lord, look quite a beautiful temple!", "Do you see all these things? he asked. I tell you the truth, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down", he replied. (Matthew 24:2 NIV-UK) And this was what exactly happened many years later when the Emperor Tito, from the Roman empire, completely destroyed the temple searching for gold hidden inside of it and therefore every stone was throw down. Will be useful for God a building if it is allied with religion? Religion is the most important enemy of God.
The Bible says: "The lamp of the LORD searches the spirit of a man; it searches out his inmost being." (Proverbs 20:27 NIV-UK) God has given a man a spirit to search out his inmost being, man's spirit is the place where God desires to live in. The truth must inhabits in you and this is the real light on earth; the truth is not what men think, but rather what God thinks! The truth is not what men say, but rather what God says! God is searching for people keening on announcing the truth that Jesus is the Messiah, the Lord, he is the way and the truth and the life; Christ was raised from the dead and offers not only the forgiveness of sins but also the salvation and everlasting life! If the Church does not achieve its goals, the Church is useless so God cannot do anything with it. Should I stop announcing the truth because people become anger? Should I stop announcing the truth because I will have troubles? What kind of watchman am I? When the enemy comes, what kind of watchman expect our soldiers? Uruguay needs watchmen! Useless things are thrown away by God!

WHAT IS YOUR COMMITMENT TO GOD?

What does motivate yourself? God is preparing an army, people ready to die; is Jesus the most important thing in your life? How much is  Jesus worth? Your commitment with God is quite essential; God is committed to you and you must have the same commitment. Do you want to know how involved he is? Let me tell you that he left his glory, he left the Kingdom of Heaven where the angels worship him and even Satan and its demons tremble with fear. He left everything to come here and died at the cross. This was his commitment! He died instead of you, he was declared guilty instead of you, he took all the sins instead of you; he experienced doom instead of you so now you needn't experience what he suffered. God is with you and says:  "For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign LORD. Repent and live!" (Ezekiel 18:32 NIV-UK)
While God has reached a quite big commitment to you, let me ask you: Are you a committed Christian? The commitment is useless at the moment you say: "Lord, although you know that I love you, I live in constant fear of saying the truth" As for God, religion is not useful! Religion is died as well those who practice it; Christ is the only one who gives life!  There are denominations that defend temples instead of Pastors when they commit sin because the denomination must continue. I have helped many Pastors` wives who were alone because they husbands had committed sin and the denominations decided to fire them. About religion, buildings, history and the structures are important; "For God so loved a denomination that he gave his one and only Son to die” No! God’s purpose is to save people. I wish Jesus would save a temple; the Bible says that we are the temple of God.
When God decided to judge the earth, it was not because he wanted to destroy it but no body stood before him. The Lord says  “I looked for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so that I would not have to destroy it, but I found none. (Ezekiel 22:30 – NIV). Moses was a man that built a wall before God. Exodus 32:11-14 says: “11 But Moses sought the favour of the LORD his God. O LORD, he said, why should your anger burn against your people, whom you brought out of Egypt with great power and a mighty hand? 12 Why should the Egyptians say, 'It was with evil intent that he brought them out, to kill them in the mountains and to wipe them off the face of the earth'? Turn from your fierce anger; relent and do not bring disaster on your people.13 Remember your servants Abraham, Isaac and Israel, to whom you swore by your own self: 'I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and I will give your descendants all this land I promised them, and it will be their inheritance for ever.' 14 Then the LORD relented and did not bring on his people the disaster he had threatened.” Because of the people’s sins, Moses built a wall before God seeking his favour. The world also needs people who build a wall! Although the Death try to dominate, the Church will react and build a wall!
Isaiah 56:9-11 says: “9 Come, all you beasts of the field, come and devour, all you beasts of the forest! 10 Israel's watchmen are blind, they all lack knowledge; they are all mute dogs, they cannot bark; they lie around and dream, they love to sleep. 11 They are dogs with mighty appetites; they never have enough. They are shepherds who lack understanding; they all turn to their own way, each seeks his own gain.” I do not want to live this situation. If I suffered, I would suffer because of my Christ. Now you must show your commitment to God! You almost died due to drugs but let me tell you that it is better to die due to Jesus. He never was stuck to any church because it was more saint or pure than other. Century by century, the Holy Spirit has been leaving from those churches that had forgotten the essence of the Holy Spirit. The church is divided regarding life and death, it is not a point to discuss because I have read The Bible and says that I have to protect the poor, the weak and the innocent. This is a matter of either obedience or disobedience. After the national election, we are in a new time for the country but the demands on church has not change, it is still the same. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life; let me ask you: Are you stuck to Christ or to your church because you have friends there?
People go to church seeking for different things, for example, a wife. At the temple, where Jesus said that every stone would be thrown down, people used to sell pigeons inside. However, we sell things for the work of God which are related to his ministry. In ancient times, God wanted that each person arrived with a chosen lamb, the best of the flock, with a year old, without blemish, and dedicated to him. Many people had to walk more than 10 days with the lamb, while others 3 or 5; So they said “ Why do we walk with the lamb if there are a lot of on sale in the hall of the temple?” Of course, they were not chosen lambs, it was just business! And people bought those lambs that were not chosen, they were not pure but people avoided to bring them from away. This situation really disgusted Jesus and therefore he grabbed the whip and began to pull the tables of the moneychangers, pulled the cages of pigeons and said, "You have turned God's house a den of thieves." Try to imagine what Christ thought when his disciples told him what nice was the temple: “nice?” Jesus said “……. every one will be thrown down”The same thing will happen to all religion! People were with the Messiah but said: "But who is this, if he has no track record? He belongs neither to the Pharisees nor the Sadducees! We do know religion and now comes this Christ, who is no one and does not belong to a priestly family. This one must be killed! "

CONCLUSION

You have to choose between Christ and the Pharisees, you have to flee from religion and come to Christ. He will light this nation, the light of Christ will save this nation. Are you really stuck to Christ? Is he the motivation of your life or you go to church because of the good atmosphere you have found it? Is that the force that move you to go to church? Let Christ to be your strength! May you be filled with the Holy Spirit! I desire your power would come from the Spirit of God! What is your motivation to go to church? Let Christ to be your satisfaction, your hope; let him to be the word of your livelihood!

I have talked to a girl who was too sad because he worked in a cell but now she is in a different one, and she liked working with the leadership of the first cell; those who have now are quite different, this girl was crying in anguish! I do know that I have preached Christ and not Pastor Marquez so I can die in peace knowing that what I left was Christ. I will not be your happiness, your peace and your strength, but while I stay alive I will speak about peace, happiness and the power in Jesus Christ.

If you do not belong to Christ, today you can give him your life. If you have realized that you were not stuck to him, if you have realized that your relationship with Christ is not serious, if he does not control your life and he must take control of your life, please letting him to remove your failures, your anguish, your loneliness and powerlessness and give him your life right now. You need to make a covenant with Jesus, once and forever! You have to do a prayer asking for his forgiveness because he cannot come to a live which is dirty. God desires to cleanse you and fill you with his presence at this hour.

Please repeat this prayer "Lord, please remove from me every injustice, every dirt and sin, removes all foreign domain in my mind, my will and emotions. Beloved Lord, cleanse me with the cleaning power of the blood of Jesus, take me in your hands, I want to be yours from this moment and forever. I receive you in my heart! I receive, by faith, that forgiveness that enables me to be your son. Take my life and my heart! In the name of Jesus I say this prayer, Amen."
